Day 3: Please Don’t Ignore This … Your Success This Year Depends On It! (Prayer Points Inside)

** IN ORDER FOR YOU TO SUCCEED THIS YEAR, YOU MUST DO THIS FIRST  **

Dear Child of God, 

Yesterday I received a testimony from one man; he was beginning to say thank you for this revelation about the Daniel Fasting. For over 15 years he was trying to figure out what was wrong with his son. The young man was almost in his 30’s but he would stay locked up in his room and refuse to come out. For weeks at a time he would stay in there and the father couldn’t figure out what to do. He had tried everything that he knew about. He had prayed, he had fasted, he came for deliverance, he anointed his son’s bedroom door, but nothing ever made any difference. He thought somebody must have bewitched his son. But yesterday after learning about the steps Nehemiah took, about how he repented on behalf of his ancestors, later that night while he was taking a shower, suddenly he began to remember. The Lord began to bring into his consciousness that this issue was nothing but a generational curse. He began to remember about his uncle on his father’s side and how he used to lose his mind. And this is the exact same thing that had been going on with his son. So after that he began to pray and repent of any sin from his father’s house. Within a few minutes he felt his son tapping on his shoulder; he had emerged from his room with a sane mind. He said Man of God for 15 years I was praying the wrong prayer and nothing worked. But with the right prayer, I received a result within just 3 minutes! Thank you and Thank God for this powerful revelation. 

When I heard this, I sat down and wept. In fact, for days I mourned, fasted, and prayed to the God of heaven. Then I said,“O Lord, God of heaven, the great and awesome God who keeps his covenant of unfailing love with those who love him and obey his commands,listen to my prayer! Look down and see me praying night and day for your people Israel. I confess that we have sinned against you. Yes, even my own family and I have sinned! We have sinned terribly by not obeying the commands, decrees, and regulations that you gave us through your servant Moses.(Nehemiah 1:4-7)

The first thing Nehemiah did when he received conviction about rebuilding the walls of Jerusalem was to turn to God in prayer. Child of God that is why we are starting the first few days of our Conference with a focus on prayer. And especially today there is something so critical we must deal with. 

You see, Nehemiah found himself being born in a foreign land, being made a eunuch to serve others, and this was nothing that he had done himself but it was a result of what his forefathers had done. Their sin resulted in him being a captive, in building up other’s lives instead. Their sin caused him to be born into bondage. But the moment he began to repent on behalf of his forefathers, every generational curse in his life was broken. Suddenly he was finding favour before the king; suddenly everyone was making a way for him; suddenly all his needs were being met; suddenly he was on his way to Jerusalem to change the next generation. 

*** CHILD OF GOD, THERE IS SOME DELIVERANCE THAT WILL NEVER TAKE PLACE IN YOUR LIFE UNTIL YOU BEGIN TO REPENT FOR WHAT YOUR FOREFATHERS DID ***

You see there are some things you can never get away from; there are some issues you will never be free of if they are a result of your forefathers. And that is why today we are doing none other but praying to break every curse that is a result of disobedience on behalf of our father’s and mother’s families, backwards to five generations. You may know your parents, you may know your grandparents, even if by chance you happened to know your great-grandparents, there are some relatives down in your blood line that you don’t know about, you don’t know about their actions. Only through prayer can God begin to reveal to you the things that have been holding you back. These are things that can affect not just you but also your children, your relationships, your finances, your health, etc. 

Lord, please hear my prayer! Listen to the prayers of those of us who delight in honouring you. Please grant me success today by making the king favourable to me. (Nehemiah 1:11)

Nehemiah knew that if he was going to succeed, he would need to repent of the sin of his father’s first. 

That is why today we aren’t wasting any time. If you are going to succeed in 2021, you must first begin to pray and repent of any sin of your ancestors. Ask God to reveal to you the cause and source of all your problems. Remember the testimony I shared with you up above, 15 years of praying the wrong prayer resulted into nothing, but once he got to the source of the problem, 3 minutes of prayer turned everything around for him.
