Dear Child of God,
Yesterday we began the first of our 7 Day Journey this week to Bringing Down the Walls of Jericho. Child of God yesterday I shared a very important email with you and I hope that you didn’t miss out on the service last night.
About 4 years ago when I went to Israel, I had the opportunity to go to the original walls of Jericho, the one that fell down. And I broke off 3 stones from part of the original foundation, the one that fell down flat.
As I put those stones on the table each night, the Lord spoke to me that for any prayer request that is going to be put on the table, those stones will speak to your problem and tell them to “come down flat”.
Yesterday we learned that the first thing that brought the children of Israel down was none other than a garment. Garments can be good but they can also be very dangerous. While God had anointed Joshua and the entire nation of Israel for victory, one man took a demonic garment and buried it in the camp and suddenly the whole nation came under a curse and as a result were met with failure and disgrace.
Yesterday we discovered how after the great victory at Jericho, it was a small feat to go up against the tiny nation of Ai, but without the power of God on their side, they were powerless.
** THERE IS AN ACHAN IN YOUR LIFE THAT WANTS TO BRING DESTRUCTION **
God revealed to me that there is an Achan in your life. The very name Achan means trouble maker. You see when God instructed the children of Israel that when they went to conquer the city of Jericho, not to take any possessions for themselves. Now it’s highly unlikely that out of a million or more people, nobody took anything. Remember this was the children of Israel we are talking about, they were notorious for not following the rules. That wasn’t the problem. But trouble started when one man picked up a very specific item with an intention behind it.
And Achan answered Joshua, “Truly I have sinned against the Lord God of Israel, and this is what I did: when I saw among the spoil a beautiful cloak from Shinar, and 200 shekels of silver, and a bar of gold weighing 50 shekels, then I coveted them and took them. And see, they are hidden in the earth inside my tent, with the silver underneath.”(Joshua 7:20-21)
When he saw a cloak from Shinar. You see, Shinar was another name for Babylonia. It was the centre of demonic worship and evil powers; it was the place to go if you wanted power. This wasn’t just any cloak. The Hebrew word for it calls it a mantle of Shinar. The historians tell us that these cloaks were adorned with figures of men and beasts. You see it represented the use of spiritual powers.
Now what would a child of Israel want with this cloak? And how would he even know that it was from Shinar? This was a man that was born and raised up in the desert, he never came from Egypt like his fathers where he might have seen such things. But somehow, he had heard about it. Somehow, he had heard of its powers. If only he could have that cloak, maybe he could raise up to be like Joshua; to be somebody famous and powerful. And so he took it and he went and buried it in the ground. He knew what he was doing. This was not just someone innocently picking up some items, otherwise why would he need to bury them. But he knew that burying those things were going to affect and undermine Joshua. Sure enough, the very next battle turned out to be a loss.
The Bible calls those items devoted to destruction. And now by taking them for themselves, the Israelites also became devoted to instruction.
“Go, consecrate the people. Tell them, ‘Consecrate yourselves in preparation for tomorrow; for this is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: There are devoted things among you, Israel. You cannot stand against your enemies until you remove them.” (Joshua 7:13)
Child of God, there is someone close to you that is operating like an Achan in your life. They may seem innocent enough, but they know what they are doing. You see there are some people that want to compete with you and they think the only way to do that is through using witchcraft. You think they are harmless, or at worst just foolish, but they know exactly what they are doing.
*** SOMEBODY WANTS TO DEVOTE YOU TO DESTRUCTION!!! ***
Sometimes somebody can give you something as a gift, and you think it’s okay, but that item has been devoted to destruction. The moment you bring it into your house, or you put it on, everything in your life just begins to go down. Sometimes it’s something you pick up from a second-hand shop and the moment you buy it and bring it to your home, destruction begins.
As long as this item was in the camp of Israel, they were powerless before their enemies. They could no longer fulfill their destiny, they could no longer walk in the anointing of God, they could no longer walk in the plans that God had for them!
This is what I see, somebody has been trying to devote you to destruction so that you can be wiped off. So that you can fail and miss what God has for you. But I declare today that every garment of Shinar that has intended to bring you down, it must be exposed and die by fire in Jesus name!
Yes, I see some family heirlooms that have been passed down from generation to generation. And somebody in your family is so determined for you to have it, but they just want to pass the curse to you. That is why today every garment of Shinar that you have inherited from your father’s house, from your mother’s house, it must die by fire!
Child of God, today we are getting ready for Day 2 where I am going to be sharing with you the next thing that must be brought down during the Walls of Jericho. But right now I need you to join your faith with mine and submit your list for Tonight’s service. For God has spoken to me that it’s your consistency that will be the key to your breakthrough this week. For 7 days the children of Israel had to walk around the walls of Jericho. Not just 3 or 4, but 7. That is why you must join with me by faith every day, your prayer request will be laid on the special table, and myself and the priests of God will be walking around it every day until Sunday when it will fall.
Today I want you to write and fill the prayer agreement form with the names of the people that you feel have been causing trouble in your life. Write the names of those who have been assigned to cause trouble, or even those who have given you strange items. It could even be specific items in your home that you don’t have any peace about or you aren’t sure about it. Write them all down and the power of God will expose it. The Lord also spoke to me that we must continue to give every day according to the number 7. Tonight is according to 49 (7 x 7) for Divine Completion. Whatever issues you have been facing, as they go on that table, they are going to come down completely in Jesus name. You can also give willingly as you can afford, so long that it includes the number 7.

18. Every Jericho wall of frustration and failure, I break your powers in the name of Jesus.
19. Every Jericho wall of disobedience, I break your powers in the name of Jesus.
20. Every Jericho wall of stubbornness, I break your powers in the name of Jesus.
21. Anyone who has travelled to Shinar to acquire the powers of witchcraft against my life, may Jehovah Makkeh strike them down in Jesus name.
