Mostly all the names of God came out of divine revelation and experience with Him. As an act of worship, Abraham, Moses, and others built up altars and gave it a specific name to represent what God had done in their life. Today as we call upon those names, we are celebrating what God did for them and inviting that same power into our lives.
Jehovah Jireh is the name that you call upon when you have a specific need to be met. Whether its finances, a divine solution, a person, etc. this is the name to call when you are out of options and have nowhere else to turn. In that moment, Jehovah Jireh will provide.
